Ready for Takeoff on 8/11 Day

August 11 is a special day as it reminds us of the pioneering missions of Gemini 8 and Apollo 11 – both led by Purdue alum Neil Armstrong and inspiration for our name.

To celebrate this commemorative event, we’re offering special dinner options inspired by the Apollo 11 astronaut celebration dinner 54 years ago - proceeds will go to support Purdue Space Camp.

Organized by university students, Purdue Space Day is a one-day educational outreach program that provides students in grades 3-8 the opportunity to learn about STEM by participating in activities featuring a space theme.
